MF - This vet does Iguanas snakes and anything else you can give him. He does his homework as well as updates his Reptile information by going to classes at the vet college in Manhattan Kansas from time to time. Great Vet. He fixed my friends baby boa constrictor's prolapsed intestine and has helped me with all my igs. He is a non evasive vet. He also does other pets as well.. he knows his stuff WELL. (02/27/04)

TW - I have had two experiences with Dr. Tiemen, the first not so great. I had a very sick premature hatched bearded dragon that I was trying to save. Dr. Tiemen told me it would be best to put him down. I refused and was able to nurse the little Bearded Dragon back to life and it is currently doing great. The last time I used him it was for a very sick Tegu that I had rescued. The Tegu was mal-nurished, had hook worm, and had severe shed problems that had caused it to loose most of its toes, and was still loosing more. Dr. Tiemen this time did not recommend putting it down, but gave me the help I needed to bring the Tegu back to health. Opinion on the Doctor still undecided. (08/05/04)

  • - Dr. Bosilevac is my #2 choice for herp vets. No particular reason; it's just that Dr. Curry was recommended to me initially. I've only needed to see Dr. Bosilevac when I couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Curry, but he seemed very herp-aware and capable. And he's closer to people living in south or central Omaha.
